24 March 2026 | Nadi – Fiji is proud to welcome regional tourism leaders to the 2026 Industry Day, convened by the South Pacific Tourism Organisation, a key forum within the three-day programme of the South Pacific Tourism Exchange 2026, hosted at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi.

While South Pacific Tourism Exchange is an established annual feature, its timing this year is especially significant. Ongoing developments in the Middle East have the potential to shape global travel patterns, influence aviation routes, and impact market confidence. This reinforces the importance of coming together at this moment to assess implications for the Pacific and coordinate a regional response.

As a longstanding partner, the Fijian Government reaffirms its commitment to a tourism sector that delivers for its people, safeguards the environment, and strengthens Fiji’s position on the global stage.

This gathering marks a pivotal moment of alignment for Fiji and the broader Pacific region. It provides a platform for governments, private sector leaders, and practitioners to confront real challenges while positioning the region to respond with clarity and purpose.

Fiji’s tourism success is anchored in its people, culture, and natural environment. The dialogue taking place this week supports a deliberate national approach to inclusive and sustainable growth that delivers long-term benefits for all Fijians.

As one Pacific region, we move forward with a shared focus on resilience, connectivity, and sustainability in an increasingly complex global landscape.
