Minister Gavoka Receives Courtesy Call from Philippine Ambassador

7 May 2026 | SUVA – The Honourable Viliame Gavoka, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, received a courtesy call today from H.E. Noel M. Novicio, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Fiji, at the Minister’s Office.

The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen the warm bilateral relations between Fiji and the Philippines and to explore areas of mutual interest in tourism and civil aviation.

The Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation remains committed to deepening partnerships with fellow Pacific Rim nations in support of sustainable tourism growth and regional connectivity.
