We’re thrilled to announce that Cabinet has approved Fiji to host the Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO, formerly known as South Pacific Tourism Organization) Council of Tourism Ministers and Board of Directors Meetings in November 2024!
The Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) is the organization mandated to represent tourism in the region. It has 20 Government members and about 200 private sector members. The meeting will be a pivotal moment for fostering sustainable growth and innovation in our tourism industry and across the region.
The PTO plays a crucial role in promoting our shared interests and enhancing our collective visibility on the global stage. This event will provide a unique platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of best practices among regional leaders and industry experts.
We look forward to welcoming leaders and stakeholders from island nations across the Pacific. Let’s come together to share our experiences, strengthen our bonds, and work towards a vibrant future for tourism in our region.
